About the Author of the Book “Hidden History”
Joram van Klaveren was once known as one of the most outspoken critics of Islam in the Netherlands. As a former MP for the far-right Party for Freedom (PVV), he submitted motions to close mosques, ban the Qur’an, and remove Islam from Dutch society.
In his first book, Apostate, he describes his personal spiritual journey — one that ultimately led him to embrace Islam. Since then, he has worked to challenge misconceptions about the faith and built bridges through dialogue and education.
